Welcome to the Clergy Spouse website

Invitation from Archbishop Jeremy Greaves

I am really excited to invite you to the 2024 Queensland provincial conference on the Gold Coast with the theme of “Common Purpose; Shared Joy”.  It has been 6 years since we have gathered as a whole province and much has happened since that time. It seems timely now for us to reflect on what it might mean to be the church together in this season and how and where we might know joy as we journey together.

Over four days we will hear from three highly credentialed speakers who can take us on this journey.  The Right Rev Dr Vicentia Kgabe, who in 2021 became the 7th Bishop of the Diocese of Lesotho, The Venerable Dr Miranda Threlfall Holmes the author the popular “How to Eat Bread – 21 Nourishing Ways to Read the Bible” and Dr Stan Grant who is Vice-Chancellor's Chair of Australian-Indigenous Belonging at Charles Sturt University. In addition, there will be a variety of workshops and plenty of opportunities to gather informally and for worship together.

Being conscious of the increasing financial pressures faced by many ministry places the Anglican Church of Southern Queensland is providing significant central diocesan funds.  We are pleased we can therefore offer those attending a registration cost with only a small administrative increase since 2018.

Registrations are now open and I look forward to seeing you there.
